The Supreme Court has rejected Vodafone Idea’s proposal to pay Rs 25 billion by the end of the day and Rs 10 billion by February 21, 2020 against adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. Further, the apex court has also refused telco’s plea that no coercive action be taken against it.

The plea was proposed by senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, who is representing Vodafone Idea in this case.

Moreover, Rohatgi has urged that the bank guarantee deposited with the government by Vodafone should also not be encashed.
