Two key executives at Vodafone India have submitted their resignation, say news reports.

Sanjoy Mukherjee, chief commercial officer, and Samaresh Parida, director, Strategy, Vodafone India have quit the company. Mukherjee has decided to pursue an entrepreneurial venture and will be with the company till October 2012. Parida, however, will serve a notice period with the company till end-August 2012.

Mukherjee was responsible for Vodafone India?s sales and marketing, brand, customer service and channel management. Pardia, on the other hand, was leading the corporate communications and corporate sustenance for the company. Parida was also working closely with the finance team for preparing company?s planned initial public offering in the country.
