Sanjeev Kumar joins TCIL as new CMD

Sanjeev Kumar has joined as the new chairman and managing director (CMD) of the Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL).

Recently, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) had approved the appointment of Kumar as the new CMD.

In August 2020, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) had selected Kumar to head TCIL through search-cum-selection process set up by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

Kumar has been serving Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) as director – technical since 2016.
