Sanjeev Goel, Chief Business Officer, Shaurrya Teleservices
Sanjeev Goel is responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of telecom infrastructure projects, spanning planning, deployment and operational management, at Shaurrya Teleservices. He oversees the delivery of connectivity solutions for enterprise customers, including large corporates and warehouse ecosystems, with a focus on maintaining quality, scalability and cost efficiency while ensuring that execution remains tightly aligned with business objectives. During his career spanning across network deployment, operations and business development, Goel has contributed to scaling telecom infrastructure across multiple geographies, covering towers, fibre networks and enterprise connectivity solutions.
From an industry standpoint, he sees telecom evolving into a broader digital infrastructure ecosystem. The shift is being driven by rapid 5G adoption, rising demand for high-capacity fibre networks and the emergence of private enterprise networks. “In-building solutions and neutral host models are becoming increasingly important, particularly in dense urban environments,” he says. At the same time, the integration of telecom with cloud, internet of things and edge computing is redefining how services are delivered, while automation and artificial intelligence-led network management is expected to gain traction. He notes that one of the key challenges lies in executing large-scale network expansion while maintaining quality, speed and cost efficiency, alongside aligning infrastructure with evolving technologies. In this context, he adds, “At Shaurrya Teleservices, we are addressing this by aligning infrastructure buildouts with emerging enterprise and digital transformation needs.”
For Goel, execution remains central to his approach. He describes his biggest strength as his strong focus on implementation, supported by attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure situations. He further underlines the role of people in sustaining performance, noting, “While I am strongly focused on results, I equally believe in supporting and developing people, because in the long run, sustainable success always comes from strong and capable teams.”
Goel’s academic journey includes learning experiences at IIM Calcutta, ISB Hyderabad and J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology. Outside work, he spends time reading about business and industry trends, practices meditation and engages in travel and light physical activities to recharge. He also values time with his family, which includes his wife and two daughters.
