Sanjay Chandra, managing director, Unitech, has come under the Enforcement Directorate?s scanner pertaining to certain investments made in a tax haven abroad.
Chandra, who is one of the individuals indicted in the 2G spectrum case, has come under the Directorate?s scanner twice before, regarding a Rs 2.3 billion investment made by the company in the Isle of Man.
It is believed that this transaction was revealed during the Directorate?s multi-layered probe of the 2G case, which involves investments in various foreign locations including Mauritius.
