Mobile manufacturers including Samsung, Oppo, Vivo and Lava have got approval from the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government and local authorities to restart production in their Noida and Greater Noida plants soon.

However, it is directed that the companies will be resuming operations at 20 per cent -30 per cent capacity.

Lava will start production on 20 per cent capacity with 600 employees at its Noida factory. However, as per the company, its suppliers in Noida and Greater Noida have not got the approvals yet which may lead to a shortage of raw material.

Further, Oppo and Vivo will operate at its Greater Noida plant at 30 per cent capacity, with about 3,000 employees.
