Various electronics and mobile handset manufacturers such as Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, among others, have extended warranties on their products until May 31, 2020. This has been done keeping in mind the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government to combat the spread of coronavirus.
Samsung has extended the standard warranty for those products whose warranty expired between March 20, 2020 and April 30, 2020.
Meanwhile, OnePlus has extended the warranty of its smartphones, whose warranty expired between March 1, 2020 and May 30, 2020.
Likewise, Oppo has also extended warranty across its smartphones and accessories whose warranty lapsed during the lockdown period, starting March 23, 2020. Further, the handset manufacturer has initiated an online repair service that help customers with basic troubleshooting and software related issues.
