
Samsung has introduced two smartphones – the Galaxy Trend and the Galaxy Star Pro with support for nine Indian regional languages including Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.
The Galaxy Trend and the Galaxy Star Pro have a 4-inch screen and is powered by a 1GHz single Core processor. The smartphones pack in 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card. Both the smartphones support dual SIMs.
The Galaxy Trend offers a 3 megapixel rear camera whereas the Galaxy Star Pro supports 2 megapixel cameras. The Galaxy Trend and the Galaxy Star Pro are priced at Rs 8,290 and 6,750.
Commenting on the launch, Vineet Taneja, country head, Samsung Mobiles and IT said, ?Galaxy Trend and Galaxy Star Pro will provide consumers a rich mobile experience in regional languages with the ability to access different applications in their preferred language. The new devices coupled with the innovative language capability will help company address a larger set of consumers.?
