Samsung has expanded the Galaxy series of devices, with the launch of the Galaxy S4 Zoom and the Galaxy S4 Mini handsets, priced at Rs 29,900 and Rs 27,900 respectively.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom functions on the Jellybean 4.2 operating system and packs in an AMOLED screen with 16 million colours, 8 GB of internal memory, 1.5 GB of RAM and support for GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth and Near Field Communications technologies.
Other features include dual cameras (a 16 megapixel primary and a 1.9 megapixel secondary camera) and a dual core 1.5 GHz Cortex processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini functions on a 1.7 GHz dual core processor and packs in dual cameras (an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.9 megapixel high definition front-facing camera), the S Translator facility, support for GPS and Java and the Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 chipset.
