
Samsung has introduced two smartphones – Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in India.
The Galaxy S6 features a 5.1 inch Quad HD Super AMOLOED display with 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution with 577 ppi. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also features a 5.1 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED with dual edge display. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are powered by Samsung?s Exynos 7 octa-core processor, with two quad-core processors clocked at 2.1 GHz and 1.5 GHz respectively with 3 GB RAM. Both devices also use the 14 nanometer mobile processor with a 64-bit platform, new LPDDR4 memory system and UFS 2.0 flash memory.
Both devices run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and support a 16 megapixels rear camera and a 5 megapixels front camera. The Galaxy S6 is powered backed by a 2550 mAh battery and the Galaxy S6 Edge comes with a 2600 mAh battery. Both devices support universal wireless charging. For connectivity Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Egde supports – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), HT80 MIMO(2?2) 620Mbps, Bluetooth v4.1, USB 2.0, NFC and an IR Remote.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge come in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants option. The Galaxy S6 is priced at Rs 49,900 for 32GB, Rs 55,900 for 64GB and Rs 61,900 for 128 GB variants, while Galaxy S6 Edge is available at a price of
Rs 58,900 for 32GB, Rs 64,900 for 64 GB and Rs 70,900 for 128 GB.
