
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Alpha smartphone in India at a price of Rs 39,990. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by an octa core chipset with 1.8 GHz quad core and 1.3 GHz quad core processors and runs on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. The smartphone features 2 GB of RAM, and an inbuilt storage capacity of 32 GB.
It supports a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 2.1 megapixel secondary camera. The smartphone includes connectivity options like micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G/ LTE, and NFC. The Galaxy Alpha also comes with fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor.
