South Korea-based Samsung Electronics has unveiled the world’s first 4G mobile technology. According to the company, the new technology is an upgraded version of the existing wireless communications platforms, which would enable users to download up to 100 MP3 music files in less than three seconds even when the consumer is in motion. Moreover, the technology will enable people to view multi-channel, high-definition TV broadcasting and control home appliances through mobile devices. Samsung plans to put the technology into commercial use by 2010 if the spectrum for 4G technology is decided next year.
