Samsung Electronics has partnered with Vodafone India and Aircel to launch operator billing integration system for its Samsung application store.
The billing platform would allow both prepaid and post-paid users to download various applications and games and make payments through their mobile bill. The platform is aimed at addressing limited penetration of credit cards and help subscribers access applications by making payments using their mobile accounts.
Going forward, Samsung Electronics plans to extend its billing platform to other operators as well.
