Samsung Electronics appoints Kwon Oh-hyun as new CEO

Samsung Electronics has appointed Kwon Oh-hyun as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. Prio to being appointed CEO of the company, OH-hyun was heading company?s component business.

Oh-hyun is going to replace Choi Gee-sung, former CEO, Samsung Electronics. Gee-sung will assume a new role in the company. He will continue to be on Samsung Electronics’ board. Heading Samsung Group Corporate Strategy Office Gee-Sung will now focus on future growth engines for the entire Samsung Group of companies.
