Salasar Techno Engineering Limited has unveiled its innovative “Solar-on-Wheels” solution a modular and mobile solar offering designed to enable rapid and decentralized clean energy deployment, at UPEX 2026, organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency.

Given Uttar Pradesh’s remarkable solar trajectory from merely 200-300 MW a decade ago to over 4 GW today, with an ambitious target of 22 GW reflects the state’s accelerating push toward large-scale renewable adoption. As grid complexity grows, transmission pressure and storage demand increasingly coming to the fore Salasar’s presence at UPEX underscored its readiness as a forward-looking infrastructure enabler, anchored by one of the industry’s largest galvanizing capacities at 6-7 tonnes per cycle and proven expertise in solar mounting structures, reflecting a robust end-to-end execution footprint.

Commenting on the announcement, managing director, Salasar Techno Engineering Limited, said, “Our participation at UPEX 2026 and the launch of ‘Solar-on-Wheels’ reflect our commitment to driving innovation in clean energy while addressing on-ground infrastructure needs. With a strong execution base in Uttar Pradesh and active contribution to government-led renewable initiatives, we are focused on delivering solutions that enhance grid resilience, enable energy access, and support India’s long-term sustainability goals, having executed over 20 projects across the region.”
