Salasar Techno Engineering has received orders worth Rs 11.82 billion in 2021-22, reporting a year-on-year (Y-o-Y) rise of about 20 per cent. Meanwhile, as per the company, the overall order book in 2020-21 was at Rs 9.88 billion.
Providing further details, the company noted that out of Rs 11.82 billion, engineering procurement and construction (EPC) orders were of Rs 9.38 billion, orders of heavy steel structure division were worth Rs 2 billion and export orders constituted Rs 440 million.
In addition, there were monthly orders worth Rs 350 – 400 million from telecom and other structures. Besides the company also constructed four towers at the Goa airport.
Meanwhile, the company reported a net profit of 315 million for FY’2021-22 as against Rs 298 million in FY’2020-21, witnessing a growth of 6 per cent. Also, its turnover was higher at Rs 7.19 billion from Rs 5.97 billion in preceding fiscal year.
The company has said that it will invest Rs 1 billion to expand its business. Of this, Rs 500 million will be invested to set up a fabrication plant at Bhilai and another Rs 500 million will be invetsed to set up a galvanising plant.
