Russian mobile operator MegaFon has awarded a three-year, 320 million euro equipment supply contract to NSN. Under the con tract, NSN will supply WCDMA/HSPA equipment and carry out the corresponding upgrade to MegaFon’s basic 3G network.

Russian mobile operator MegaFon has awarded a three-year, 320 million euro equipment supply contract to NSN. Under the contract, NSN will supply WCDMA/HSPA equipment and carry out the corresponding upgrade to MegaFon’s basic 3G network. NSN will also assist MegaFon on network integration, project management, personnel training and provide technical support. The contract includes future supply of GSM/GPRS/EDGE equipment and subsequent network expansion.
