Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has signed a master service agreement with Indus Towers to use the latter?s telecom tower infrastructure for rolling out its 4G networks. At present, Indus Towers has about 113,490 towers in 15 circles at the current market prices.  The company is planning to launch its 4G network by early 2015.

The deal will help RJIL to expedite its 4G network rollout. The company had earlier stated that it will lease about 70,000 towers and set up 30,000 towers of its own to deploy its 4G network infrastructure. In this regard, the company has already signed tower sharing deals with Bharti Infratel, Viom Networks, Ascend Tower, Tower Vision, GTL Infra and ATC India.

RJIL is the only company to hold pan-Indian broadband wireless access spectrum in the 2300 MHz band, which it had won in the auctions in 2010.
