
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) plans to open 2,000 exclusive outlets, Digital Xpress Mini, in 2014 to sell the company?s telecom services, smartphones, tablets and also accessories of other brands.
The outlets will be set-up in an area covering up to 250 square feet. The company plans to use these outlets to sell and market the services to be launched by Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), a subsidiary of RIL.
By end of this year, Mukesh-Ambani owned RJIL plans to introduce 4G services and 4G-enabled-handsets, which will be sold through RIL?s branded outlets.
