Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) on September 10, 2025, said Reliance Intelligence has been assimilated as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
The certificate of incorporation was received from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on September 09, 2025.
Additionally, the artificial intelligence (AI) push was outlined at RIL’s August annual general meeting (AGM), where the chairman announced the formation of the new subsidiary to house large-scale AI infrastructure, alongside new partnerships with Meta and Google.
Further, Reliance Intelligence was set up to fulfill four missions: to house India’s next-gen AI infrastructure, to forge global partnerships, develop AI services for India, and hone AI talent. It is expected to develop gigawatt-scale, AI-ready data centres powered by green energy, engineered for training and inference at a national scale.
