Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) aims to generate revenues of Rs 30 billion from its enterprise business during the current fiscal. That apart, it is also chalking out plans to work in synergy with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) to make profits.

The company is also looking to garner revenues from its substantial land and network assets. The operator has over 50,000 towers across India and has inked several tower sharing deals with various private operators.

Further, BSNL plans to enhance revenue by establishing six internet data centres (IDCs) under the brand name One Cloud. It plans to provide hosted services, such as software as a service, platform as a service and infrastructure as a service through the IDCs.

The company plans to commission the first two IDCs at Faridabad and Ludhiana in July 2011. The remaining IDCs will be commissioned in September 2011. All these IDCs will be installed on BSNL premises.

In its projections to the government, BSNL is expected to post a loss of Rs 6.23 billion on revenues of Rs 365.69 billion during the current fiscal year (2011-12).
