Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea clear spectrum dues worth Rs 940 million in September

According to industry sources, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea have paid a combined amount of Rs 940 million towards spectrum dues to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio have reportedly made payments worth Rs 545.2 million and Rs 391 million, respectively.

The payments were towards deferred spectrum dues and were made in September 2019.

Earlier, in March 2018, the government had enhanced the number of annual instalments for spectrum payment from 10 to 16 years.
