Reliance Jio’s net profit has grown by 47.5 per cent year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 23.79 billion during quarter ended (QE) March 2020 to Rs 35.08 billion during the corresponding quarter in 2021. Further, the standalone revenue from operations, including access revenues grew from Rs 153.73 billion to Rs 182.78 billion during the period.
Meanwhile, the standalone earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 36.3 per cent on a YoY basis from Rs 62.89 billion to Rs 85.73 billion during the period under consideration and the EBITDA margin grew from 40.9 per cent to 46.9 per cent.
Subscriber base as on March 31, 2021 stood at 426.2 million. Meanwhile, the average revenue per user (ARPU) stood at Rs 138.2 per subscriber per month.
The total wireless data traffic during the quarter stood at 16.68 billion GB, while the total voice traffic during the quarter stood at 103.29 billion minutes.
