As per a recent data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio Infocomm led the average 4G download speed ranking with 20.9 Mbps speed in January 2020. However, this is lower than the 27.2 mbps speed recorded by the telco in November 2019.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea recorded average 4G download speed of 7.9 mbps, 7.6 mbps and 6.5 mbps, respectively.
As far as the 4G upload speed ranking is concerned, Vodafone topped the chart with data speed of 6 mbps during the period under consideration. It was followed by Idea which recorded upload speed of 5.6 mbps, Reliance Jio 4.6 mbps and Airtel 3.8 mbps.
