Reliance Jio has commenced field testing of 5G network across four circles in the country.
The tests are being conducted jointly with partners using its own technology.
In this regard, Jio is conducting the trial in Mumbai using its indigenously developed 5G equipment and technology. Further, in Delhi the trials are being conducted jointly with Ericsson and in Pune with Nokia. Meanwhile, trials in Gujarat are being conducted with Samsung.
According to industry sources, the telco is also gearing up to start trials in Hyderabad.
