Reliance Jio added 4.5 million mobile phone users in June 2020, says TRAI

As per the recent data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio added around 4.5 million mobile phone users in June 2020, taking its subscriber base to over 397 million.

Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea lost 1.12 million and 4.82 million customers in June 2020 reducing their subscriber base to 316.67 million and 305.10 million, respectively.

In terms of market share, Jio’s customer market share increased to 34.82 per cent, while Airtel’s and Vodafone Idea’s market share marginally narrowed down to 27.76 per cent and 26.75 per cent, respectively.
