After approaching the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) against Etisalat DB for non-payment of dues, Reliance Infratel has filed a similar case against S Tel, say news reports.
The company aims to recover over Rs 700 million from S Tel for using its towers. The contract was signed between the companies in 2009.
The case is set to be heard on March 5, 2012, along with the company?s case against Etisalat DB.
Prior to this, Reliance Infratel had served a notice to Etisalat DB for Rs 12 billion in outstanding dues for using its telecom infrastructure on a lease basis. The companies had signed an infrastructure leasing pact in 2009.
Before serving the notice, however, Reliance Infratel had discontinued services to Etisalat on the same grounds.
