Reliance Communications Limited (RCOM) and Tata Teleservices have reportedly been claiming excess subsidy from the USO Fund for providing services in the rural areas. The proportion of wrong claims by the two service providers in certain areas was ashigh as 48-70 per cent of the rural lines installed by them.
