Smartphone manufacturer Realme has announced that it is investing heavily in setting up exclusive showrooms in an effort to expand its retail footprint in India and fuel technology adoption even in rural parts of the country, where real growth is happening.

To this end, the company is set to launch its first flagship store in Gujarat which is being built in 10,000 square feet of space.

Apart from the online segment where Realme captured the third spot in India in 2020 with 19 per cent share, the company’s mainline store segment is also gradually growing.

The company believes that expanding deeper into Indian territories through mainline channels is critical to their growth.
