Realme has promoted Madhav Sheth, currently serving as CEO of Realme India and global vice president, to the position of head of Europe and North America regions.
This promotion has come on the back of massive growth of Realme’s presence in India. Under Sheth’s leadership, Realme has managed to consolidate its position among top five brands and gave a strong competition to its competitors.
As part of his new role, Sheth has already started building local teams in Europe and will initially focus on Spain, France, Germany, Poland and Czech Republic. The foray will also see more elevations from the Indian team to these global markets.
Going forward, Realme is aiming to sell 15-20 million smartphones in the 2021 calendar year and will be targeting the 200-250 euros price category.
Further, Realme is planning to massify the 5G technology in Europe with the help of a 5G only smartphone portfolio.
