Reach Media International has launched the first offline business directory application for smartphone users in Coimbatore. The ?Call Coimbatore? application is supported by all smartphones and has over 90,000 listings with 2,000 search categories. The search categories of the application include emergency services, classified, tourist and entertainment places, company listings, helpline and brands.
The application allows the users to directly call and communicate with various smartphone sellers in the city and even view their locations on the map. It can be downloaded through the Internet and does not require any network connection for its services.
The company aims at 400,000 listings in the next six months and plans to charge for the service, depending on the customer response. Also, it will be launching the ?Call Bengaluru? application for smartphone users in Bangalore in October 2014.
