Reliance Communication (RCOM) has asked the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) for a stay on the disconnection notice issued by BSNL for its Gujarat circle over non payment of dues. BSNL had asked RCOM to pay Rs 333.9 million as Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC) due to it, for the period August 2005 to February 2006. Following non-payment, however, BSNL issued a notice to RCOM in September 2010. The bill also included interest of Rs 68 million. RCOM has already paid up Rs 151.6 million for the said period.
