Reliance Communications (RCOM) has released financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2014.

The operator?s net profit declined by 48.5 per cent from Rs 3.03 billion during quarter-ended March 31, 2013 to  Rs 1.56 billion during the same quarter in 2014.

Further, RCOM?s total income on a consolidated basis declined from Rs 59.56 billion in the quarter-ended March 31, 2013 to Rs 56.71 billion for the corresponding quarter in 2014.

For the quarter under review, the operator?s wireless data subscriber base stood at 37.4 million. Its 3G customer base grew by 16.2 per cent from the third quarter to 12.9 million in the fourth quarter-ended March 31, 2014.  At present, 34 per cent of the company?s mobile internet subscribers use 3G.

For the quarter under review, the operator?s average revenue per users stood at Rs 128.

Further, for the financial year ended March 31, 2014, RCOM has reported revenue of Rs 223.21billion. Operator?s net profit stood at Rs 10.47 billion.

The company?s India revenue increased by 4.4 per cent from Rs 177.84 per cent in the financial year 2013 to Rs 185.69 billion in the financial year 2014. However, its global revenue declined by 6.22 per cent from Rs 49.28 billion in 2013 to Rs 46.21 billion in 2014.
