Reliance Communications (RCOM) has partnered with the social media platform Facebook to launch the latter?s Internet.org application in India. With the application, the company will be able to provide free internet access to Facebook to its existing and new customers. Also, RCOM would be able to provide free internet access to more than 36 websites through the application.

The free internet access through Internet.org is currently available in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Kerala circles. The company added that there will not be any usage limit placed on the consumers for using this service.

The company is now planning to extend the service to all its customers on a pan-India level in 90 days.
