RCOM is at advanced stages of negotiation with Iran-based telecom service provider Telecommunication Infrastructure Company (TIC) to set up two cable landing stations in Iran. The companies are likely to sign a Rs 3 billion pact soon. RCOM intends to land its Falcon cable system at Bandar Abbas (in Hormozgan province) and Chabahar (in the Sistan and Baluchistan province) in Iran.According to sources, RCOM will sell bandwidth to TIC, which will resell it in Iran.
