RCOM has reportedly awarded a $500 million GSM rollout contract for electronics to Huawei Technologies. It has also floated a tender for a three-year, 80-100 million GSM line rollout contract ?? claimed to be the world’s largest ?? and has begun discussions with equipment manufacturers including Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, ZTE, Ericsson, Motorola and Nokia.
