RCOM has acquired Uganda-based Anupam Global Soft, which holds a public infrastructure provider licence and a public service provider licence, issued by the Uganda Communications Commission.

RCOM has acquired Uganda-based Anupam Global Soft, which holds a public infrastructure provider licence and a public service provider licence, issued by the Uganda Communications Commission.

RCOM has received the spectrum and is likely to launch mobile services in Uganda by end-2008. The company intends to invest up to $500 million in establishing a high quality, fully IP-enabled integrated telecom network in Uganda.
