Reliance Communications (RCOM) has awarded a 100G optical transportation network (OTN) contract to China-based telecom gear manufacturer ZTE Corporation.
As per the contract, ZTE will provide design, engineering, installation and operations and maintenance services to RCOM for the operator?s 100G OTN in Pune and Hyderabad during the next three years.
Further, ZTE will also provide its ZXONE series of equipment to address the multi-service access and high integration requirements of RCOM.
