Reliance Communications (RCOM) has announced the appointment of Gurdeep Singh as president and CEO of its wireless business.
Singh will be responsible for leading the company?s wireless business to achieve higher revenues and profitability.
Additionally, Singh will also be a member of Reliance Management Board (RMB).
An alumnus of BITS Pilani, Singh brings to RCOM 29 years of work experience and has worked in sectors like telecom, home appliances and consumer electronics.
Prior to joining RCOM, Singh was the chief operating officer, India, with Aircel. He has also worked in Hutch (Now Vodafone) as director, operations, North, for about five years.
