RCL has entered into an eight-year, $500 million technology alliance with Microsoft to launch IPTV services by March 2008.

RCL is aiming to provide nearly 400 channels and has tied up with several content providers for the service which will initially be launched in Mumbai and Delhi, and subsequently in 30 other cities.
