Rangsons Aerospace (RAPL) and Oversat are poised to announce a partnership, aimed at advancing satellite communication (SATCOM) technology. The collaboration will focus on developing advanced Luneberg lens-based multibeam antennas, enabling simultaneous tracking of multiple low earth orbit (LEO) satellites.
As per RAPL, the new technology promises to address connectivity challenges across maritime, land mobile, and aerospace applications. And, unlike existing single-satellite-tracking parabolic systems, the multibeam antennas will enable real-time connectivity across multiple satellites, significantly enhancing communication capabilities for defense, aviation, and commercial sectors.
