RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel) has received a Rs 1.19 billion work order from South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) for deploying managed bandwidth services. The project will be executed under an operating expenditure (opex) model.
According to the company’s stock exchange filing on June 11, 2025, RailTel will establish a multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) VPN network to enable live streaming and storage of CCTV footage from SECL’s mining sites across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Further, the contract spans three years and is scheduled for completion by June 5, 2028.
