RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel) has won two orders totalling Rs 1.03 billion from Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation and Panvel Municipal Corporation.

The Rs 0.71 billion Nashik contract is for selecting an implementation agency to supply, lay, install, test and commission the Nashik and Trimbakeshwar city network backbone, along with operations and maintenance services, with completion targeted by December 31, 2026.

Additionally, the company received a Rs 0.33 billion order from Panvel Municipal Corporation to supply, install, and provide services for software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN)-based Internet Leased Line (ILL)/ multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) connectivity across various locations under the Panvel Safe City project, scheduled for completion by March 19, 2031.
