RailTel reports consolidated PAT of Rs 660.1 million during Q3FY22

RailTel Corporation of India has released its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The consolidated income of RailTel for the period stood at Rs 4.74 billion in third quarter (Q3) FY’22, registering a quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) growth of 24.38 per cent over consolidated income of Rs 3.81 billion in second quarter (Q2) of FY22.

The company posted a profit before tax (PBT) amounting to Rs 881.4 million. Meanwhile, the profit after tax (PAT) for the company stood at Rs 660.1 million during the quarter on a consolidated basis.

In the nine months of the FY’2021-22, RailTel posted total revenue of Rs 11.40 billion, witnessing 17.28 per cent growth over the nine months of FY’2020-21.

The company’s retail broadband service RailWire has reached 460,000 subscribers and are targeting for 500,000 subscribers and more than Rs 2.80 billion turnover by the end of March 2022.
