RailTel has been awarded a work order from the Department of Education Samagra Shiksha, valued at Rs 159.8 million (including tax). This project involves the establishment of Robotics, Drone, and Atal Tinkering Labs in 160 government schools across Himachal Pradesh as part of the STARS initiative, with an expected completion date of November 30, 2025.
The second work order comes from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL), amounting to Rs 1,041.6 million (including tax). RailTel will focus on upgrading the IT network infrastructure for nine plants and three offices to meet modern technology standards. This project is scheduled for completion by January 30, 2030.
Additionally, RailTel has received an order from a defense public sector unit for the establishment of a Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre, valued at Rs 1,003.3 million (including tax). This order is required to be executed by May 30, 2025.
