RailTel Corporation of India has awarded a network upgrade and expansion contract to Coriant Solutions. As part of the contract, RailTel will deploy the transport solutions of Coriant to meet the increased bandwidth needs of its enterprise and government customers.
The network expansion is part of RailTel’s efforts to support the government’s vision of Digital India and provide affordable broadband to the customers by 2015.
To upgrade and expand its multi-state network, RailTel has selected Coriant?s end-to-end solution comprised of the Coriant hiT 7300 Multi-Haul Transport Platform and the Coriant 7090 Packet Transport Platform.
Founded in 2013, Coriant is a supplier of dynamic metro-to-core transport solutions.
