Qualcomm has reportedly been found guilty on three out of four counts of patent infringement. It has to pay $19.6 billion in damages to its rival Broadcom. Broadcom, however, plans to ask for a permanent injunction against further infringement. The patents in dispute cover call handoff between networks with differing technologies, mobile radio features and video processing.
