Qualcomm has appointed Anand Chandrasekher as chief marketing officer.
Chandrasekher will be responsible for global marketing and communications and will be reporting to Steve Mollenkopf, president and chief operating officer, Qualcomm.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, Chandrasekher worked with Intel as senior vice president, general manager for the company?s Ultra Mobility Group. He was responsible for the Intel atom processor division. With 25 years of experience with Intel in various leadership positions, Chandrasekher has experience in strategic planning, product development and marketing.
He is also a board member on Cornell?s College of Computing and Information Sciences, a member of the advisory board for Rutberg Wireless and an advisor to startups in the mobile and wireless domain.
