PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), the Indonesian telecom operator jointly owned by Telkom and Singapore Telecom, has awarded a GSM network contract to ZTE.

PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), the Indonesian telecom operator jointly owned by Telkom and Singapore Telecom, has awarded a GSM network contract to ZTE. Under the contract, ZTE will supply 2G base station systems and 3G UMTS terrestrial RAN equipment, as well as provide technical services, systems upgrade, on-site technical support and repair and maintenance services.
