Airtel Kenya’s current CEO, Prasanta Sarma, will be appointed CEO of the merged entity of Airtel Kenya and Telkom Kenya. The merged company will be chaired by Telkom Kenya CEO Mugo Kibati. Airtel Kenya and Telkom Kenya have signed a binding agreement to merge their mobile, enterprise and carrier services to form a single joint venture company, to be named Airtel Telkom.
